Apoorwa Chandra (1988 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy. - 7. M D Antani (1991 batch IPS) has been appointed Home Secretary Gujarat. - 8. The service tenure of Ms.Mamata Singh, DIG, NHRC New Delhi is likely to extended by one year. She is an IPS officer of 1996 batch - West Bengal cadre. - 9. B Ramaswamy, Director, has resigned from the Board of Sonata Software Ltd with effect from August 18, 2011. - 10. IDBI Bank has appointed E S Ravisekar as its Nominee Director on the Board of Rain Commodities Ltd in place of R S Vidya Sagar with effect from August 10, 2011. - 11. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the extension of tenure of NS Sisodia, as Director General of Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA), for a period of three months beyond August 16, 2011. - 12. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the extension of tenure of AK Singh, a 1983 batch UP cadre IFS as CVO of ESlC for a further period of six months. - 13. Anandrao Vishnu Patil, a 1998 batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS, has been appointed as Private Secretary (deputy secretary level) to the Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Vilasrao Deshmukh. - 14. Ms. Sudha Sharma who presently DGIT Vigilance, Delhi and S C Jaini will take over as Members of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on September 1.

Often law and everything related to legal side is taken as a dryish, unwanted aspect; its also been coloured black & white rather to enhance the dryness! But we all know that in every moment of even our daily life we come across law and everywhere law. Be it a traffic related matters or birth registration procedure, everywhere we are being borne by some or other law on this earth. Our motherland has almost 1500 laws enacted by the Central Govt and supported by average 100 other laws of each state!

So why cant we respect law in right spirit and in flying colours ?

We, thats why thought of making KNOW YOUR LAW… , colourful.
